These are the Soldiers of Mother Earth Earrings created fot the bold wearer who likes whimsey, activism and questions surrounding climate changes and world issues.
In the orocess of creating these i was channeling mother earths agony against human violence and neglect against the planet. I was thinking about how we challenge our mother earth through egotistical headless and mindless actions, disregarding our own future circumstances to live on earth. The size of these little climacte awareness pieces of art, is also a comment toward how we belittle these questions. 
The small soldiers on top of mother earth are found at a fleamarket, colored with posca pens, embellished with small orange gemstones coated in resin glaze for maximum longivity and hold. The earth halves are made out of fimoclay, handpainted  too look like mother earth to is lavic core. The chains and hooks are silverplated.
