“There is no such thing as bad weather, only bad clothes” 
so goes an old Swedish saying. In Bohuslän 
they also used to repeat a rhyme if they saw a ladybug: “Goldfinch, goldfinch, fly, fly, fly and it will be summer and good, good weather”. Anyone who wears the ladybug’s form, can thus always wish for better weather.
The earring hook and chain structure are made of handmade chains in 1.0 mm copper wire, red glass beads, black plastic beads, recycled cutouts from bicycle air tiers bejazzled with gemstones topped off with smaller ladybug fittings. 
Copper does not contain nickel, wich makes these wearable for the one with skin allergies.
