Nadja Itäsaari started as a vocalist and wrote her own songs already during high school in Angered. Nowadays, she is an experienced producer and performer who regularly plays live. She has been active on the Gothenburg scene since 2008 in several bands and constellations, including: the Latin band Lecheburre Latinflow , the progressive indie band A Cup of Coffee and a Lovesong (ACOCAALS), the feminist trance duo SheTrance and the performance trio The Soft Revolution of Goth Punk Poetry .

In total, Nadja Itäsaari has released five albums, two of which she produced solo. In addition to this, she has, since 2020, produced and released nine singles with accompanying music videos under the name Nadja Itäsaari. She swims from genre to genre and splashes around in several different oceans: folk & worldmusic, rock, pop, jazz & blues, songwriting & singer-songwriter.  Genrefluid is the term she created herself, to best describe the the width of everything she does.

Nadja Itäsaari is also an educated cultural project manager and has worked for gender equality in music production in the non-profit organisation EQLovesMusic and EQLovesFestival 2019-2021. She is also one of several project managers within the organisation and network Poesiwerken , where she arranges events such as Klubb LäsBar - open stage occations for poetry, impro and performance art, and is responsible for sound technology and visual marketing material.
