MULTIVERSES

Join us on a journey into the worlds of Nadja Itäsaari! Multiverses are worlds where Nadja brings together all of her art, from music to crafts to audiovisual music video artworks. Since 2020, Nadja has worked on bringing together all of her art into music videos. Since then, ten audiovisual works have been released containing messages and stories that Nadja has carried and released virtually. These works have also come to form the basis of Nadja's crafts and jewelry art. Therefore, you can still visit her webshop if you want to wear creatures that she has developed on her own inner journey in relation to the music and the multiverse she creates.

You may also have noticed that Nadja is also a Mermaid? The Mermaid actually hatched when she was little. But the Mermaid from Smutsen blossomed out of Nadja's work with the multiverse Avbitartången 2022, in which she wanted to tell about highly sensitive people, HSP, in a humorous and lighthearted way. This means that you have the ability to feel other people's emotions and that you are sensitive to different kinds of impressions, which have to do with the bodily senses. With an almost furious pace in an underwater world, Nadja tries to describe how everyday life with impressions can feel for a highly sensitive person.

"Even as a child, I escaped into the worlds of fantasy to deal with my high sensitivity". I was so captivated by the Mermaid Ariel that my mother had to carry me to the nursery, because I had developed fins and could not walk on land" , says Nadja, who chose to collaborate with four other mermaids in her music video.

With an almost frantic pace in an underwater world, Nadja tries to vividly describe how everyday life can feel for a highly sensitive person.
